I have students who are in this predicament. Many of them are even US citizens who were born here–that ugly term “anchor baby” attached to them. They fear that they may be deported along with their parents and that their citizenship doesn’t count. And it’s even worse for DACA kids. This is a very real fear that when, not if, DJT follows through with his campaign rhetoric families will be torn apart or citizens will be stripped of their rights.
